(1 John 5:14-15) Loving and Powerful God, thank You for Your investment in the lives of Your people. You don’t have to love us. You don’t have to care for us or take interest in our lives. You are completely sufficient and satisfied in Yourself alone, yet You desire a loving relationship with all of Your created beings. That’s amazing, Father. Thank You for that incredible example of unconditional love. Thank You for listening to us—for hearing our prayers. Despite Your greatness, power, and vastness, You still listen when Your people cry out to You. Father, ___ needs to know You’re listening to them right now. They need to be reminded of Your loving, caring, relationship-seeking character, God. Show ___ that You hear them, that You’re listening to each of their prayers, even when they don’t hear anything back. Through Your Holy Spirit, fill ___ with Your peace. Give ___ the ability to rest in You, knowing full well that You are always listening. Thank You, Father. Amen.
