(Psalm 61:2) Father, thank You for the overwhelming blessing of the person I call “Dad”. He is a first responder to all of my needs, both big and small. He is the one I call on in crisis and in celebration. He stops whatever he’s doing and comes at the drop of a hat to my rescue. God, whether its phone calls through tears of panic or tears of joy over good news, thank You that he is always available when I call. I am grateful for my earthly father, ___, and my eternal Father, both who I can call on when I don’t know what to do or where to turn. One of the greatest things he has taught me is that I can call on You at all times. It is my greatest joy that he chose to partner with You to raise me to walk in righteousness and to have a relationship with You, my eternal Father. I have watched my Dad lean on You all his days and I walk confidently knowing we will forever live in the shelter of Your wings. Amen.
