(Joshua 1:9) Lord God, we don’t know the exact path that lies ahead for Your servant, ___. You do—and we have confidence in that—but we know there’s nothing in our lives (or anyone else’s) that we can predict or even fully anticipate. In light of that, Father, empower ___, through Your Holy Spirit, to “be strong and courageous” in the face of whatever crosses their path. Speak louder than their fear and their discouragement with the truth that You will be with ___ wherever they go. May that verse, that reassuring truth from Joshua 1, be present in ___’s mind constantly during their time on active duty. Father, grant ___ a supernatural courage—a courage beyond anything they could muster up on their own—to face every challenge, every fear, every uncertainty with the boldness, confidence, and peace that is only found in You. May ___’s life be a light and an example to all those around them—a transformational example of what happens when we, as created beings, step into the life-changing power of the Creator. Amen.
