(1 Timothy 4:12) Lord, You’ve given ___ a great opportunity, an incredible chance to set an example for those around them—not just their peers, but also their coaches, the officials, the parents, and the opposing fans. Through their sport, You’ve blessed ___ not only with a stage, but also with the gifts and abilities to perform on a high level. Because of Your provision and grace, Lord, many eyes watch ___ on a regular basis. Old and young, mature and immature, people see ___. When ___ plays their sport, people are watching, studying, analyzing. And while for some, this might be detrimental, I ask that, for ___, You would turn it into a great blessing. Through Your Spirit, Father, expand ___’s perspective to see the stage on which they are standing. Equip them to take advantage of this opportunity and set an example for everyone watching—to “speak the truth and live a life of purity and authentic love.” I pray that lives would be changed and hearts would be opened because of Your work in Your servant, ___.
