(Psalm 91:4) God, thank You for the instinctive wisdom You placed in fathers. My Dad’s advice and cautionary tales keep me safe from harm. He is almost always right even when I don’t want to admit it. Give me the humility to listen and learn from his life experiences. Help me to see he shares these stories out of the love and kindness of his heart to keep me safe. Thank You for the discernment you gifted my dad, ___, with and his ability to know what’s best for me. He always has my best interest in mind and shields me from harm. Thank You for guiding him, speaking to him, and giving him tips to navigate fatherhood in an ever-changing world. The lessons he has taught me and the instincts he has passed along to me are a priceless gift. The greatest gift I have ever received are his lessons and guidance in learning to listen for Your voice and follow Your word. Amen.
