(Proverbs 17:17) Father, You have given a great blessing through the design of family and the gift of siblings. Thank You for my sibling(s) being my greatest champion(s) and cheerleader(s). Friends will come and go out of our lives, but the bond of siblings is for life. Thank You for the many times ___ has stood by me, in good times and tough times. As the verse says, “a brother (and sister) is born for adversity”. At times, siblings are the cause of the adversity, and other times they are defending us from adversity. No matter what, please give us a grace to stick together through all kinds of trouble. May all our actions be motivated in wanting what’s best for one another. Thank You for the honesty, challenge, and desire to help each other become our truest selves. May no amount of adversity come between us. Thank You for softening our hearts for forgiveness and wiping the slate clean for one another. I pray that through the highs and lows of life, our bond will grow stronger. Amen.
