(Psalm 127:3) Father, thank You that parents are their children’s first and most important teacher. You placed a special gift inside each of Your children to also be a teacher to their parents. I pray for (mom) and (dad)’s eyes to be open, to marvel in the child-like faith as they watch their children discover the world. May the innocence of their child’s heart cause them to see the world with new eyes. I pray it strengthens their faith and causes them to reach further and walk fully in what You have for their family. Children are resilient and have a beautiful way of recovering both mentally and physically from life’s challenges. I pray (parents) are able to learn from the way they see their children rise. Father, in their home, may all voices, big and small, be valued because we are not to despise or discount the youth. I pray that the outrageous prayers and wild dreams of their children fill (parents) heart with unimaginable wonder. Amen.
