(Matthew 28:18-19) Before You left this earth and ascended back into heaven, Jesus, You gave Your disciples a call, a Great Commission. You told them to make disciples and baptize them, but not only that. You instructed them specifically to make disciples of all nations—to go beyond Jerusalem, to Judea, to Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Through that command, You made it clear: Your Kingdom is not for one type of person or group of people. Your family is full of all nations, of all people—regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or any external characteristic. Father, ___ is dealing with discrimination that is not in line with Your Kingdom vision. People are treating ___ without the love, care, and value with which You view them. I know this breaks Your heart and contradicts Your vision for the Church. In light of that, I ask You to remind ___ of their worth and identity in You. Show them the beauty in who You’ve created them to be. Give ___ confidence in their uniqueness, knowing full well that You have prepared a place in Your Kingdom specifically for them. Amen.
