(James 4:8) Dear God, thank You for the way You bless our lives. You give us many good gifts that we don’t even deserve. I pray for ___, who is allowing Your blessings to draw them away from You. They desire to be close to You, but is becoming so easily distracted and not spending the time they know they need with You. Please help ___‘s heart to love the Giver more than the gifts. Help them to keep their heart devoted only to You. Help them to put You above all else. May ___ ‘s desire to be closer to You become their first priority. I pray ___ will meet You before they begin each new day. Give them a deep hunger for You—a desperate desire for You, Lord. You are the only One who can satisfy their deepest desires.
