(Romans 8:26) Thank You, God, for not creating a world and a plan that depended on our own talents and abilities as human beings. Thank You for not leaving us alone—for not neglecting us nor abandoning us to fend for ourselves. As You know, Father, we have many weaknesses, shortcomings, and limitations. The effects of sin have not left even the “most righteous” of us unscathed—but that doesn’t matter to You. As Paul wrote to the Church in Rome, You use weak, broken, limited people. You empower us in our weakness. You restore us amid our brokenness. Father, as ___ steps into this new chapter of life—a chapter of reconciliation and recommitment to You—I ask You to work in their weakness. Encourage ___ and tell them that, even when they fall short, You will be there to pick them up. Through Your Holy Spirit, empower ___ to experience even deeper relationship with You as they continue to trust in Your goodness and love. Show ___ the path that leads to joy, peace, grace, and hope, and as they experience those good gifts, equip them to share them with others. Thank You for Your great power and for interceding on our behalf. Amen.
