(2 Thessalonians 3:5) Father, before a person becomes a parent, they often have thoughts whirling in their head questioning if they have what it takes to raise a child. The thing this person does not know is that You’ve already placed in them everything they need to be a parent. Long before (parents) were born, You carefully and thoughtfully placed everything they would need in this life within them. You activate it when the time is right. As parents learn at each new stage of their child’s life, parenting requires endurance. From the terrible twos to the teenage tantrums, parents get a glimpse of how strong Your love is for us. Even as adults we throw tantrums, but You love us through them. Father, give (parents) the endurance to patiently love their children through every season. May their love never waiver and their understanding of Your great love for us be a never-ending revelation. Amen.
