(Philippians 4:6-7) Father, some people come into our lives for a season, and some come to stay, but we can be confident in Your eternal companionship. It is not in Your nature to leave our side, especially in our pain. You promised to always be close to the brokenhearted. As people come and go from ___’s life, give them the grace to show kindness at every stage. I pray that even in their disappointment, they can look back with overwhelming gratitude for all the gifts along the way. May the memories of good times protect their heart from allowing resentment to set in. When they feel their heart hardening towards another, soften their heart with the reminder of how much love and grace You show us each day. Give ___ the compassion to forgive and the strength to lay their unresolved hurts at Your feet. You created us for human connection, but no one can satisfy our hearts like You.
