(Revelation 7:9-10) Although Revelation is a complicated book, Lord, it is a beautiful picture of what’s to come. Even if I can’t fully understand it, Your Spirit has revealed enough to me to recognize how beautiful, glorious, and joyful it will be when You return and re-establish Your perfect reign on this Earth. As chapter 7 says, at the end of time, “every nation, tribe, people group, and language” will come together in unity—worshiping and praising You. What a beautiful picture! Because of that, Lord, I ask You to empower us to appreciate the uniqueness and individuality in others. You are working in all of us—every nation, every tribe, every tongue. There is no one “template” for what a disciple of Jesus should look like. I know ___ knows this, Father. I know ___ sees the beauty in others and appreciates the diversity in Your Kingdom. Because of that beautiful work You’re doing in ___, God, would You use them as an advocate for the diverse ways in which You work? Equip ___ with boldness, gentleness, and wisdom to set an example for others for how to appreciate the unique gifts, perspectives, and identities You’ve given to each of us. Because of ___, may people say, “Father, I see Your powerful work all over the world.” Amen.
