(2 Peter 1:3) Yahweh, none of us can imagine or fully empathize with what your daughter, ___, is experiencing right now—the deep grief, pain, and loneliness gripping the most vulnerable parts of her soul. We live in a broken world, stained by the effects of sin, evil, and death, and ___ is living through some of the ugliest, most excruciating parts of this painful reality. In many ways, Lord, I know ___ is feeling like she lost a part of what she needed to survive. And for those who don’t know You, Lord, the sad truth is that might be the end of the story. The world might tell ___ she’s lost something that can be replaced. But You, Father, tell us a different story. You tell ___ that You will give her “everything [she] could ever need for life and godliness.” You say to ___, “I have called you by name and invited you to come to me.” You declare over ___’s life, “I will always be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Speak these truths into ___’s heart and soul today, Father. Amen.
