(2 Peter 1:3) Lord God, You have given us everything we need. Peter’s words in 2 Peter 1 aren’t a lie or deception. Despite our circumstances, despite what we may think we need, Scripture tells us what’s true: everything we need and could ever need is found in You and You alone. When we start a relationship with You, Yahweh—when we learn to know You and follow Your invitation to walk in Your goodness—we learn to experience the fullness of life You offer. Through Your Holy Spirit, our eyes are opened to Your goodness, grace, mercy, and love. In the good, in the bad, in the in-between, You give us everything we need! Thank You for that awesome truth, Father. In the same way, I know You give ___ everything they need. Not only have You provided protection, provision, and people for ___, but more than that, You’ve given them Yourself, Your Spirit, and Your love. In light of that, Father, help ___ to experience Your presence more deeply. Give them confidence to know that they don’t have to look any further than their Creator to find satisfaction. Fill up the depths of ___’s soul, Lord. May it overflow with Your power, peace, and presence. Amen.
