(Psalm 113:9) Dear Heavenly Father and Creator of All, it brings me grief and sadness to realize that ___ is unable to produce the blessing of having a baby that is allowed by You, God. Lord, they have attempted to solve this issue, however it is beyond them. Lord, as I come before You, I am reminded in Your Word in Genesis 1:27-28 that You made man in Your image. In addition, it speaks of being fruitful and multiplying. How can ___ be fruitful unless You intervene? In 1 Samuel 1:2-17, 19-28, You intervened for Hannah. She was barren, and Penninnah, the other wife of Hannah’s husband, antagonized and laughed at Hannah to scorn her. Even though Hannah was loved more and given a double portion from her husband, Elkanah, she could not give him the ultimate gift of life. She went to the temple and Eli the priest was there. At first, he believed her to be under the influence, but her spirit was vexed. She informed Eli her emotional state was not the result of a drunken stupor, but the agony of a hurting woman. Eli bid her to “leave in peace and may God answer her request,” in which You did. Just as Hannah was blessed, I am praying and believing that You will perform the same miracle for ___. We praise You in advance for the forthcoming miracle. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
