(Psalm 78:3-4) Father, thank You for the wonderful provider my father, ___, has been for our family. I know there have been many times in my life he didn’t let us see the extent of the sacrifices he made. After working long days and long nights, he still came home to have dinner with us, losing sleep just to spend time with us. I know at times he felt the weight of being the provider, but he never let it show. He carried it with such grace that we never noticed the worry on his face. Thank You for the times You came in at the 11th hour with a miracle allowing him to make ends meet once again. Through my Dad’s faith and relationship with You, I have learned to lean on You when it seems I am at my end. Thank You for the power of generational faith. I pray You repay him tenfold for everything he blesses our family with. In his latter years, may he see You provide for him in ways he never thought possible. Give him above and beyond all his needs and wants. Amen.
