(Romans 15:5) Father, as ___ fights in life or death situations alongside their coworkers, I pray they form a bond and become like family. I pray for unity among the family ___ works in. Since the terminology and lingo can seem like another language to some, it can be hard to connect with those outside of the profession. Thank You for their work family that speaks the same language and can relate to each other so well. When ___ feels misunderstood and that people don’t get how exhilarating and, at the same time, exhausting their job can be, I pray the support and encouragement at work they give to one another sustains them. In high intensity moments, when time and communication are vital, give them the ability to see the benefits of their connectivity. May they be able to communicate what is needed to save a one’s life even sometimes without using words. Help them to stay in step with each other as their bond gets stronger. Through laughter, tears, and tough conversations, bring them closer to You, to each other, and to the community they serve. Amen.
