(Psalm 23:4) God our Conqueror, I ask for freedom from fear for ___. Their service provided freedom from fear to so many. I pray You give them this in return. When they are walking through the deepest darkest part of the valley, I pray Your light would shine through, giving them hope. ___ will never be alone in their fight with fear. Remind them the darkness cannot conquer them, for You have conquered the darkness, Father. As a number of soldiers come home with the weight of PTSD, You know how to help ___ and You know exactly what they need. Help them to lean on You. There’s no weight too heavy that You cannot lift off of them, Father. May all thoughts of hopelessness, shame, and despair fall to the wayside in order for ___ to get the help they need. I pray You will heal the physical and emotional wounds they received from their act of service and sacrifice. You have a full and beautiful life for them on the other side of their healing. I pray against thoughts and dreams of days gone by that taunt them. Remain close to ___ and lead them through it all the way. Father, bring ___’s story full circle, and allow them to help others receive healing from PTSD. I ask all this in Your Almighty name! Amen.
