(Psalm 76:11) Jesus, thank You for the gift of ___. They are a blessing and a gift to so many, including myself. I pray that all who meet ___ would treasure and see the beauty within them. May people see each of the gifts with which You’ve blessed them. Jesus, too often we only want to see the gifts that come without any pain, suffering, or hardship—all boxed up with bows tied. Rarely are we eager to see the gifts of grief or the gift of hurt, exposed and vulnerable. I know it may be difficult, even painful, to see these things as gifts, but through Your Spirit, Father, I ask that You’d come alongside ___ today amid this grief and pain. Remind them that not only do You know what they are going through, but You also can help them share Your love with others who may be going through similar pain or hurt. It is in the unwrapping of the gift and untying of the bow that we grow, learn, and become more like You, Jesus. Father, help ___ not to hide what You’ve given them, but allow them to give these gifts away as hope for others. Amen.
