(Romans 12:6-8) You are a beautiful, powerful Creator God. Everything You created is designed with intentionality, specificity, and uniqueness. Father, not only did You create human beings with a purpose to serve the whole—a responsibility to serve the larger body—but You also formed us uniquely, with individual talents, passions, and “grace-gifts,” as Paul talks about in Romans 12. According to Your design, Yahweh, some of us are made to serve. Some are made to teach. Some are made to encourage. Some are made to design bridges, make videos, or play music. Whatever You’ve given us, our responsibility is to use those gifts “to meet the needs of others.” Father, in light of this, I first ask You to reveal to ___ the gifts, talents, and passions with which You’ve blessed them. Bring to light what they may have overlooked and, through Your Spirit, equip them to discover what’s underneath the surface. Show ___ the uniqueness of Your design and Your gifts. Fill them with confidence in their identity because of how You’ve intricately, purposefully, and lovingly shaped them. Beyond that, God, teach ___ to use those gifts, that identity, to serve You and those around them. Empower ___ to uniquely and powerfully live for Your glory and their ultimate good. Amen.
