(2 Corinthians 1:3-5) What incredible beauty there is to be found in Paul’s words from 1 Corinthians! What hopeful truths about Your character, Lord! You are the “Father of tender mercy,” “the God of endless comfort.” You “always come alongside us to comfort us in every suffering.” That is amazing grace, Lord. Praise You for Your unending mercy, grace, love, and comfort. Because of what You’ve already done, Lord, we know Paul’s words are true and powerful. We can rest, knowing You are always with us to give us everything we need in every moment of weakness. Father, I know You are with ___ right now as they experience the pain and struggle of injustice and oppression. You promise to be with us during these times, and I can see You surrounding ___ today with Your great comfort and love. Lord, I ask You to continue to do this—continue to show ___ Your mercy, comfort, and love—in undeniable ways—that they might coming alongside others in their life who are experiencing similar trials. Through Your Holy Spirit, God, transform ___ into a beacon of Your love and comfort to all those they encounter. Thank You for Your mercy, Lord. Amen.
