(Psalm 23:4) Father, walking through sickness can feel like a lonely season. The fear of the unknown and uncertainty of tomorrow can feel overwhelming. In this season, may Your omnipresence swallow up ___’s loneliness. In the night, when ___ wakes up with whirling thoughts surrounded by darkness, may the light of Your presence make their fears disappear. Your great expansive love leaves no space for darkness to abide in our hearts. When the pain and discouragement empties their heart of joy, hope, and love, show them the depth of Your abundance supply. With each new day, gift them a fresh supply. Fill ___’s heart with love each and every day. Surround them with people who will walk alongside them to support and strengthen them in the moments when they want to give up. Give them the strength to laugh and enjoy life as they walk out of this valley making their way back to the mountain top. Amen.
