(Genesis 50:19-20) Holy God, You work in all situations—good, bad, and those beyond our understanding. As in the life of Your servant, Joseph, You took what other people intended for harm and used it for good. Through the incredible power of Your Spirit—the same power that conquered death and the same power that lives within each of Your children—You take what is broken and have the ability to use it for good. Although we can’t always see it—and may never see it—we know You take what the Enemy has twisted and transform it to align with Your perfect will and plan. God, right now, we can’t see the good You’re working out in this painful situation. But, if You could use the pain and grief of Jesus’ death on the cross for our ultimate and eternal good, we know You also can use this broken situation for the benefit of others. Comfort ___ in light of Your goodness, Father. Give ___ a glimpse of how You continue to work in their life. Remind them that Your goodness is not dependent on our circumstances or affected by the Enemy’s plans for evil. Show ___ Your goodness today, Father. Amen.
