(1 Peter 5:6-7) Father, we know You are with us. We know You wait for us. We know You care for us. Throughout history—of the world and of our individual lives—Your great love has been exemplified for all to see. If we understand nothing else about You, about this world, and about our purpose and meaning in life, we can have full confidence in Your love for us. Thank You, Lord, for Your selfless, loving, transformational care for Your children. Father, ___ is weighed down with heavy burdens right now. In their circumstances, in their relationships, in their perspective on life, the Enemy is attacking ___, trying to crush them under the weight of this heavy load. On our own, God, we know we are hopeless to stand against these attacks, but in You, Father, we have everlasting hope and power—because You care for us. In light of that, Jesus, would You surround ___ with Your love and care for them? Give ___ confidence that, even if they can’t see hope from any other source in the world, they can have all the hope they need in Your great love. They can “pour out all [their] worries and stress…and leave them [with You],” because Your care for us never runs out. Your care for ___ never runs out. It is everlasting. Thank You, Father, that You care for Your creation. Amen.
