(Matthew 28:20b) Father, in Your final moments on this earth with Your disciples, You made them a promise: “I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.” It wasn’t a future promise, either. It was a promise that was true, even as You spoke to them in those final moments. You were with them then, and You are with us now. What a powerful promise! When I think about that reality, Lord, I have a transforming comfort and peace, knowing that You are always with me. In the same way, God, I ask You to give ___ that comfort and peace that comes from Your presence. Through Your Holy Spirit, give ___ eyes to see where You always are—living inside of them, walking with them. As ___ goes throughout their day, show them examples—whether it’s through their circumstances, Your Word, or other people—of how You are always alongside them. In Your great mercy, love, and grace, Father, make Your presence undeniable to Your child, ___. Thank You for Your promises, Lord. Amen.
