(Psalm 40:17) Savior, ___ is a true hero as they put their life on the line for their fellow brothers and sisters. Sometimes in their field of work, people demonstrate the greatest act of love by sacrificing their life for a friend as You did for us. ___ knew this when accepting their position. Thank You for their heart, dedication, and understanding of what true love looks like. When they are weary, because even heroes get weary sometimes, please remind them that You are their true hero. All of their strength, ability, and endurance to answer the call of duty comes from You. In the traumatic situations, when shock comes in and tries to overtake their nervous system, may these be the moments they would have the most incredible stories of angels. When their body feels as if it can’t take one more step, I pray You would send Your angels to move through them, hold their arms up, and give them the knowledge of what to do next. May this be part of their testimony, and as they tell these stories to other people, it will bring people to the knowledge of Your existence and presence here on the earth. Amen.
