(Philippians 2:5) God, it’s no secret that this world—our situations, circumstance, and relationships—can often become complex, confusing, and unclear. Daily decisions and judgment calls are rarely black-and-white—they’re often grey and muddied, making it difficult to know how to always follow You with our minds. In light of that, Father, we thank You for the unmatched gift of Your Son, the Anointed One, Jesus. Not only do we thank You for the teachings, commands, and instruction of Jesus we read about in the Gospels, but we also thank You for His example. We thank You that, through the accounts of Jesus’ life, we can begin to know and understand His mindset. It gives us a tangible, practical example to follow in our own life. What an incredible blessing that is! Father, I ask You to empower ___ to follow Your example in their thoughts, words, and actions. Equip ___ to understand, more and more, the example You set during Your time on Earth. Give ___ the tools to not only interpret how You think, discern, and make decisions, but also to apply that knowledge to their own life. Let the mindset of Jesus become the motivation for Your child, ___. Thank You for Your Son, Father. Amen.
