(2 Corinthians 4:16-18) This life is temporary. In the good times, that can be discouraging, but in the tough times, that is a remarkably encouraging truth, Father. And we know that, even though the good times on this earth may fade away, You have something greater and more satisfying on the horizon. Your goodness and love is everlasting; it will never end. Regardless of what we encounter in this life—good or bad—we can have confidence and unwavering hope that even better things are still to come. You are making all things new, God. Right now, Father, fill ___ with hope in what’s to come. Transform their thoughts and transcend their confusion with an overwhelming sense of hopefulness for the place You have prepared in Your Kingdom for them. Give ___ a glimpse of reality through Your eyes—a look inside Your eternal perspective, Jesus. Combat ___’s doubts, confusion, and frustration with Your hope, love, and peace. And as ___ looks forward in hopeful expectation, grant them peace and rest in Your presence and what You’ve given them here and now. Amen.
