(Genesis 1:27) Yahweh, from the beginning of time, everything You’ve created—from the sun and stars, to the oceans and continents, to the animals and plants—has been good. After each day of creation, You looked over what You had made and declared that “it was good.” Before You rested in the glory of Your creation on the seventh day, You created us—human beings. Not only did You make us with that same intentionality and “goodness,” Father, but Scripture tells us You also created us “in [Your] own image.” What a unique and beautiful gift to bear the image of the compassionate and gracious Creator of the universe! ___ is Your beautiful image-bearer, Lord. I have seen it in their life. In the way they love, serve, and selflessly sacrifice for those around them, I see Your characteristics in ___, Father. In Your love and grace, would you show ___ the implications of this reality? Remind them that Your beauty is their beauty. Your character is their character. Your love, grace, and power define and live inside of ___ because You created them in Your magnificent image. Ground ___’s identity in Your image, Father, and through Your Spirit, empower them to move forward with confidence. Amen.
