(Psalm 121:5) Lord, I know You are the keeper of our soul. When distress and turmoil abound, You can turn it around in our lives. As ___ battles through depression, You are their light at the end of the tunnel. Help ___ to overcome this grief. As natural as it may be, it still hurts. The pain one feels lingers for a time. In You, peace can be found and rest can be given. Comfort ___ and hold them in the warmth of Your arms. Your gentle ways are but a mild touch of what is needed. As one struggles to survive this ordeal, in Christ we realize all things happen for a reason. Whereas ___ may not understand why, surely the very thought of their loved one passing on is easier knowing they are in much better care in Your arms. For, rest can be found in Your arms; peace can be found in Your arms; grace and mercy is surely found in Your arms; relief and so many more feelings are found in Your arms. Our arms are not strong enough to bare this grief alone, but as you lift ___ up, the grief is conquered; the pain will be conquered; the selfishness of the anguish will be conquered while remembering that the battle is not ours, but the Lord’s. For Your grace is sufficient for us and Your mercy is everlasting. So, whatever the loss, You are still our rock in a weary land and You will never leave Your child to suffer though the grief alone. You are the keeper of our souls as well, and You know our every thought and need. You will hear ___ and answer their prayers. Amen.
