(Proverbs 13:22) As I’ve heard it said many times, “It’s not how you start; it’s how you finish.” While first impressions certainly are valuable and significant—as You know, Lord—often how we’re remembered is by our exit, how we leave different stages of life. Never has this been truer for ___ than this year, their last year of high school. Depending on what happens this year—the decisions ___ makes, the people they hang around—it might affect the way people remember ___ at their high school. Father, I ask You to give ___ the wisdom, courage, and humility to leave a positive legacy at their school. Show ___ opportunities to love, to serve, and to create opportunities for future generations of students after them. While, in the last year of high school, there will be a temptation to be self-seeking and “live it up,” I ask You, Yahweh, to give ___ eyes for the future. Hold in their mind a vision of what their school might look like after they leave and use that vision to motivate them into doing great things for You and Your Kingdom. When people remember ___ at their school, may they say, “They left this place better than they found it.” Thank You for ___, Lord. Amen.
