(Matthew 5:14) Light of the world, You promised us in John 8:12 that whoever follows You will not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. Thank You for Your effervescent light which shines through us to others. As Your house, the church, is a safe haven and beacon of light to the world, many people look to it in times of need. I thank You for the opportunity You have given ___ to be a lighthouse keeper. May the hope of salvation You placed in their heart shine for all to see. Allow them to see it from a distance and see Your house as a place of refuge. Thank You for the capacity You have given ___ to help ignite hope in other people’s hearts. I pray You continuously increase their energy, enthusiasm, and endurance to keep their light shining. May they feel the impact of their efforts here on Earth until they are able to see the pride for them in Your shining, glorious face. Amen.
