(John 4:13-14) Lord, as You are the Bread of Life, You also are the Living Water. What a beautiful story John writes about in chapter 4 of his Gospel! As You saw first-hand, the woman at the well had been searching—searching in every corner of her life, looking for something that could fully satisfy her. Yet, day after day, she kept coming up empty. As she returned to the well every day, so she returned to that place of emptiness and longing within her heart. Then she met You, Yahweh, in the person of Your Son, Jesus. And her life changed. You showed her a water, a Living Water, that would never leave her feeling empty or wanting more. You showed her Yourself, Lord. In the same way, God, reveal Yourself to ___ in new ways this week. Give ___ a taste of Your ability to satisfy and fill them up. Invite them to walk with You even deeper and empower them, through Your Holy Spirit, with the courage to step out in faith. Lord, I know You deeply desire to meet ___’s deepest needs—because You love them. So, in Your grace, speak Your Word of satisfaction into ___’s life today. Amen.
