(Matthew 5:4) Lord, I pray to You on behalf of ___. It is so hard to lose a loved one. The closer you are to someone, the more difficult the loss may feel. My prayer is for comfort, peace of mind, longsuffering, and so much more. Only You can provide the strength for ___ to carry on with this journey during these times. Even though ___ may want to cry, or even give up, I know this is not of You. Help ___ to understand this turmoil, which has them twisting and turning. When throwing their hands up and throwing in the towel is not an option, help ___ to realize that these feelings, in time, shall pass. What else can one ask of Thee, oh Lord. To bow down to You on bended knees, knowing that our prayers will reach Your ears. Help ___ to conquer these feelings of pain, anguish, and exhaustion. Only in You, Christ, can one persevere and move on in life. Yes, Lord, we must continue to live daily. Seeing our loved one on the other side will only occur if we personally continue to keep the faith. Times are difficult, but keeping the faith is necessary. Oh Lord, surely You understand and see ___’s plight. When this journey becomes too hard, hold onto them. Keep their family lifted up in Your warmth. Wrap Your arms around them and keep them tightly pressed against Your bosom. For in You, I know my prayers will be heard and answered. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
