(Romans 8:18) My prayer, Lord, is that ___ makes it through the night. They say joy comes in the morning. Well, Lord, You know that ___ needs Your strength to even make it until morning. A teardrop carries within it so many emotions. We cry. We scream. We pray. We walk around in circles, all to just try and understand why. Please tell ___ why! They realize that Your will must be done. Therefore, ___ has to press their way, wipe away their sniffles, and try to endure until the next day. May the glory of the Lord be manifested in their actions. May ___ show endurance in their actions. May ___ show patience in their actions. May___ show stability in their actions. That others may see Your glory and know that You are God, may they continue to show faith in their actions. Help ___ continue to walk in faith, knowing that this too shall pass. They feel the loss, but it cannot overcome them. Keeping their hands in Your hands, their strength will grow and the impossible situation can become bearable and possible. Whereas it may not be revealed to ___ as to why this loss occurred, they must realize that You, God, needed another angel in heaven. ___’s loved one is in the presence of holiness and able to share their love with other loved ones who have gone on before. I know ___ misses them dearly, but their loss is only temporarily. They will be together again one day. Until then, I pray that ___’s heart will not be so heavy, but lifted up and brighten by the homecoming and reunion yet to come. Amen.
