(Revelation 3:15-16) Dear Lord, I know that You desire for us to be either hot—which brings comfort—or cold—which brings refreshment—towards You. Your desire is not for us to be lukewarm toward You and the things regarding Your kingdom. Please help ___ to grow out of this season of a lukewarm attitude. Give them the motivation and encouragement to engage in their relationship with You in a new and exciting way. Help them to seek Your face and desire to do Your will with a renewed sense of commitment and enthusiasm. Please bring Your Holy Word to life as they spend time reading it. Help them to experience the joy of their salvation and kindle a great fire within their souls to follow You more closely and to honor You in greater ways. Amen.
