(Psalm 131:2) Father, in an ever-changing world, it is a true gift to have the consistent love of my mother, ___. Her love melts my heart in a unique way. While she has said “I love you” millions of times in my lifetime, it still overwhelms my heart with love each and every time. Thank You that no matter how old I get or how much I grow, my mom can always bring me back to center. Each time her loving arms wrap around me I become like a child again and my walls are brought down. With her I feel safe to allow my true feelings to come out. Thank You that she holds space for me to return to her care and be real, vulnerable, and fully myself. In the same way I am able to find rest and peace in her presence, one of the greatest things she shown me is to find rest and peace in Your presence, Father. I am grateful for the tangible loving arms of my mother who has led me to know the everlasting love of my Heavenly Father. Amen.
