(Lamentations 3:22-24) Yahweh, You are a miracle-working God. You are so gracious and loving to Your people. I’m constantly overwhelmed, Father, by Your never-ending mercy and compassion. As the author of Lamentations wrote, because of Your great love, “we are not consumed.” No pain, no sin, no evil can ever defeat us. Even when we slip and fall, Your compassions are new every morning. That’s amazing, Lord! Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Father, as I look at ___’s life, I see Your hand of restoration clearly. I see Your Holy Spirit at work in and through ___ right now. You are making Your relationship with them new once again. In this process, Father, I ask You to remind ___ of this truth: that Your mercies are new every morning. Even when they stumble and make mistakes, don’t let them forget about Your never-ending compassion, grace, and love. Fill ___’s mind with a vision of You standing beside them, ready to pick them back up, ready to welcome them back into Your arms. As You do this great work in ___’s life, Lord, speak to them and say, “I am your portion.” Amen.
