(John 4:35-38) Father, You’ve placed us on this Earth with a mission, with a specific purpose. As Your followers, You’ve given us the call to “go and make disciples of all nations.” And as we know, there are several stages to this calling, to this “spiritual harvest” as You call it in John 4. Some of us “plant spiritual seeds”—through Your Spirit, we help begin conversations and initiate relationships. Others of us will “sow the seeds” that have already been planted—we continue to be a resource for those who are searching, helping to answer their questions. Still others are given the privilege of “reaping the harvest”—of leading people in a lifelong commitment to You and Your truth, Lord. As a full-time minister of Your gospel, God, I ask You to provide these opportunities for ___. Lead ___ into conversations with people who haven’t heard the Good News. Show ___ people that are already seeking Your Word and Your truth. Bless ___ with opportunities to help usher people into Your Kingdom. Use ___, Lord, as Your vessel—as a planter, a sower and a reaper. Thank You for Your transformational work in our lives, Father. Amen.
