(Philippians 4:19) God, You designed us uniquely for relationship—both with You and with others. You created us with a unique need for community—to be encouraged, strengthened, forgiven, restored, counseled, loved, and delivered by others and by You. When we are discouraged, You often use other people to lift us back up. When we’re grieving, You send others into our path to remind us of Your comfort, grace, and love. Relationships with others are a beautiful way in which You display Your provision for us, Father. Thank You for that. We know You certainly used ___’s husband to provide those things for her on countless occasions. Through her marriage, You encouraged ___, You strengthened ___, and You loved ___. And even though her husband is no longer with her on this Earth, that doesn’t mean You have stopped providing for ___. Actually, the opposite is true. In our weakness, Lord, You are even stronger. So, Father, I ask You to surround ___ with Your grace, mercy, and provision. Show her Your “abundant riches of glory” through Your Son, Jesus. Satisfy every need that ___ has, through Your Holy Spirit. Amid her grief and pain, Father God, be ___’s sufficiency and provision. Amen.
