(Luke 21:18-19) Father, thank You for ___’s heart to love and serve people, even when the going gets tough. May they be honored for the way they go above and beyond their duty to show care for others and their families on a personal level. Their work environment can be a high stakes, life or death, emotional environment. It can be difficult to deal with the emotions of the people around them, continue to do their job, and process the emotional toll it all takes on their own heart. I pray You would help them to be patient and present in the moment, knowing Your grace is ever-present. Thank You for the times they are able to partner with You and save lives. Be with them and send Your comforting angels when they experience a life being taken from this world. May Your peace flood the room and fill everyone’s heart with Your love and comfort. Give ___ the capacity to love on the families when they lose a loved one. After they settled from their day, give them someone’s shoulder to cry on when they feel the heartache themselves. I pray You bring people into their lives, coworkers, family, and friends, who they can talk to about the things they deal with on a regular basis. As they support the people they serve and their families at work, I pray they have people who care for their family with the same care. Give ___ the strength to wake up another day and do it all again with patience endurance. Amen.
