(1 Corinthians 1:30) Father, thank You that prayer is one of the safest places for our hearts to abide. Resting in communion with You is a beautiful restoration. I pray in this time You would teach ___ how to pray as Jesus did here on earth to connect with You in Heaven. Father, give them divine insight into Your heart for them. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear what You are ministering to their heart. Remind them life comes from You and You have a life yet for them to live. The loss of a life breaks Your heart as much as it breaks theirs. They are not alone in their pain. Show ___ that You have the capacity to take all of their questions about the past, present, and future. When they are unable to use words to express their needs, search their heart and fulfill their deepest needs. Help them to stay in a heart posture, always believing You are good and You are for them no matter what happens in this life. The Word says You are close to the brokenhearted. As they are being joined even closer with Jesus, I pray these things—wisdom, virtue, holiness, and redemption—are given to them in a deeper and stronger way. I pray they lean on You by using the power and gift of prayer to renew their strength. Amen.
