(Psalm 91:9-10) Our Shield and Strength, I ask that You place Your hand of protection around ___, surrounding them from all sides. Be a barrier between them and the infections and afflictions they encounter as they work. As they are spending their days serving and saving lives, fight off every attack of the enemy on their behalf. Often, they are called to put themselves in harm’s way. In those moments, as they run into the face of danger, give ___ a mental picture of You standing with Your shield covering them from harm. May they feel Your presence and experience Your peace, even when the tension and fear is rising. Calm their anxieties, give them clarity, and show them Your footprints so they can walk in step with You. I pray they lean on You as their secret hiding place and secret weapon in every fight in their lives. Amen.
