(Psalm 63:1) Father, when ___ feels lovesick, may they feel lovesick for You. May this be a season of ___ returning to their first love, their Heavenly Father. This season may feel like a weary wilderness or a season of loss for ___, but it can also be viewed as a season of great gain. They have gained Your closeness because You promised to be close to the brokenhearted. All of Your children have a God-sized hole in their heart only You can fill, Father. Help ___ not put expectations on others to fill this hole, but seek Your face to take Your rightful place on the throne of their heart. It is by Your grace that You put others in our lives to love us, but nothing can satisfy like Your love. I pray ___ finds this to be true as You come to them with open arms to comfort them. Draw ___ in and teach them to love You more each day as they return to their first love. Amen.
