(Psalm 23:4) Yahweh, I love the words You spoke through David in Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul.” Father, You are our Good Shepherd, our Provider, our Sustainer. Not only that, Lord, but You are also our Protector and our Savior. As verse 4 says, “even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me.” In Your presence, God, there is peace—no matter the circumstances. Your presence, Your goodness, Your love will always overcome sin, death, and darkness. Evil is no match for Your saving grace, Yahweh. Speak this Psalm of David over ___’s life this week, Father. Through Your Spirit, make ___ deeply aware of Your calming presence. Give them confidence in Your faithfulness, trusting that You will stay with them, even “through the darkest valley.” Lord, save ___ from the evil that’s around them. Comfort them in the valley they’re in right now. Thank You for saving us from evil. Amen.
