(Romans 16:20) Although our Enemy is strong, Lord, You are stronger. As You know, God—and as You experienced when the Devil tempted You in the desert—Satan has some powerful forces on his side. In partnership with this world and our flesh, the Enemy does everything in his power to drive us away from You, to break down our relationship with our Creator. And although we may give into his deception at times, we know the end of the story is already written. Yahweh, You’ve already won. On the cross and through Your resurrection, You defeated sin, death, and the Enemy. And, as a result, in the here and now, You save us from the Enemy’s attacks on our own lives. Father, I know You are standing ready, equipped to save ___ from anything the Enemy throws their way. I know You’ve already empowered ___ to face and overcome these temptations through Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for that, Yahweh. I ask You to continue to sustain ___, continue to empower them. Build up even more powerful defenses and protections in ___’s armor, that they may continue to walk in Your truth and Your love. Thank You for saving us from the Enemy and his deception. Amen.
