(2 Timothy 1:7) Heavenly Father, Your Word tells us that self-control is a fruit of the Spirit. Please grow this fruit in ___’s life, and help them to display the attitude of Jesus Christ. Where there is anger, bring peace. Where there is hatred, bring love. Where there is resentment, bring forgiveness. Help ___ see the value of self-control. Teach them from Your Word what Your desire is for them and how they behave. Surround ___ with those who will help them take control of their emotions, and show them how not to be led by negative and damaging emotions, but by faith in You.
