(Psalm 4:8) Father, the unknowns of unemployment can send our minds in a swirl. It can often affect our sleep and ability to think. As You are working behind the scene on ___’s behalf, do not let the night taunt them and steal their peace. When ___ is awakened by worry in the middle of the night, exchange their anxiety for confidence. May it be their natural instinct to call out to You in these moments. Help them to live unafraid and speak against the lies in the night. May ___ gravitate to Your light when the enemy tries to make their situation seem grim. Not even the darkest night can dim Your light. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:8, help ___ to “stay clearheaded by placing the breast place of faith and love over their hearts, and a helmet of the hope of salvation over their thoughts.” Allow this armor to ward off the enemy as ___ lies down in peace and sleep comes at once.
