(2 Corinthians 6:18) Father, You know Your child, ___, better than anyone else on this earth. You created them. You intentionally and specifically formed ___ and gave them a specific plan and purpose, according to their specific gifts, talents, and abilities. Lord, more than anything else, ___’s identity is firmly established as Your child. ___ is a child of Yahweh, the Living God. Father, as You know, ___ has struggled to be accepted by others throughout their life. Bullying, mistreatment, and loneliness have been ___’s constant companions. In You, Lord, though, we know we find acceptance. Despite our flaws, despite our past, despite the way in which the world receives us, You receive us and accept us, Father, because we are Your children. ___ is Your deeply loved, eternally accepted child—adopted into Your family through Jesus’ work on the cross. In light of this, Lord, give ___ confidence in their new identity. Empower them, through Your Holy Spirit, to stand firm on Your truth and Your love. May ___ never doubt their place or purpose in this world, knowing full well that they are accepted in Your family. Amen.
